Pieverse: A BNB Chain Project for AI Agents’ Payments and Records
A young project built around the x402b payment standard
Pieverse is building a payment and record-keeping system for AI agents (programs that act on a user’s behalf), and PIEVERSE is its token. It is a young project, centred on BNB Chain, that began releasing products and its token in late 2025.
1. Payment rails for AI agents
Pieverse calls itself ‘agent-native financial infrastructure’. The aim is to let AI agents pay and settle like account holders, acting only within permissions the user grants and leaving records usable for audits and tax reporting. Colin Ho is introduced as co-founder and CEO, and the project says it took part in Binance’s MVB accelerator.
On the Crypto Nation map, PIEVERSE stands in BNB Chain City, because it was first issued on BNB Chain. Its supply is stated to be fixed at 1 billion tokens, issued in forms usable on BNB Chain and Ethereum.
2. x402b: ‘payment required’ for blockchains
The web has long had a rarely used response code, 402 ‘Payment Required’. Pieverse’s x402b extends the idea so that a person or AI agent can request and make a payment much like calling a web address. A relayer pays the gas (network fee) up front and is repaid in a stablecoin, so users need not hold a separate fee coin.
Payments leave on-chain invoices, receipts and ‘Time Checks’ that release money when conditions are met, with receipts said to be stored on BNB Greenfield, BNB Chain’s storage network. ‘Pie-wrapped’ tokens such as pieBNB and pieETH are meant to allow fee-free settlement and movement between chains, and pieUSD, a wrapped USDT, is among them.
3. Uses and timeline
On 19 December 2025 Pieverse launched an ‘Agentic Neobank’. Users deposit supported digital assets and give an AI account manager limited permissions; the agent can rebalance within set limits, place idle funds in yield strategies and keep a record of its actions. A link to ordinary banking is described as planned.
The PIEVERSE token is reported to have started trading on 14 November 2025 on Binance Alpha, Binance’s early-token platform. The project says it is used for governance votes, staking to unlock some features, and discounts on fees and subscriptions.
4. Things to know
The project’s features and schedule are mostly the team’s own descriptions and have not been independently verified. Its track record is short, and other projects compete over payment standards for AI agents. Giving an agent the power to move money can lead to losses if permissions are set badly, and rules for such services are still taking shape.
Part of the token is allocated to the team, investors and a foundation, so it may reach the market as unlock schedules proceed. Look-alike tokens and impersonation sites may exist, so the contract address should be confirmed through official channels.
