Quack AI (Q): Governance Tools Where AI Agents Vote and Execute
DAO proposal analysis and sign-once execution, launched 2025
Quack AI is a service in which AI agents (programs that carry out tasks on their own) help decentralised organisations (DAOs) review proposals, vote and execute decisions. Q is its governance and utility token, which began trading in September 2025.
1. What the project does
DAO token holders are meant to read and vote on many proposals, but turnout is often low and proposals are hard to assess. Quack AI offers tools in which AI summarises proposals and analyses risks, votes on a user’s behalf if delegated, and automatically executes approved decisions on-chain. It calls itself not a blockchain but middleware running on many chains.
The project operates under the Quack AI Foundation, and not all of its core contributors are publicly identified. It began on DuckChain, a chain linked to Telegram, and expanded to BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism and other networks. On the Crypto Nation map, Q stands in Ethereum City (the capital), because Ethereum counts as its home chain.
2. How it works
Its core products are governance tools built on AI analysis and an ‘AI Passport’ that records user identity and activity points. More recently it has promoted Q402: a user signs once to set conditions such as spending limits and expiry, and a relay server (facilitator) pays the network fee and executes the transaction.
Q402 is described as extending the ‘sign, then pay’ flow of x402, an internet payment standard proposed by Coinbase, to AI agents. The Q token is used for voting, delegating to AI agents, participation rewards and facilitator staking as a trust bond. Maximum supply is fixed at 10 billion.
3. Milestones
Q held its token generation event on 2 September 2025, and trading began the same day with an airdrop to points holders on Binance Alpha. The token uses the same address on Ethereum and BNB Chain. Only part of the supply was released at launch; the rest unlocks in stages over two to three years.
The project has announced partnerships with ecosystems including BNB Chain, Linea and Base. It also promotes compliance tools that track whether tokenised real-world assets update their net asset value and proof of reserves on time, bundling AI, governance and payments.
4. Things to know
Metrics such as user and integration counts are mostly self-reported and may differ from independently verified usage. When AI votes or moves funds, a wrong judgement or a badly set permission can cause large losses, and if relay servers and policy engines concentrate in a few hands the system becomes effectively centralised.
Team and investor tokens unlock gradually after a one-year lock, so more supply may reach the market from late 2026. Competing services such as Coinbase’s x402 tackle similar problems, Q is a small, very volatile AI token, and others use similar names.
